Bells & Boughs Christmas Card

Here is the card that I created for my Shoebox swap for Convention.  I got lots of compliments.  If you look on page 43 in the 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog, there is a card similar to mine.  This was my inspiration.  I did mine a little differently.

Here's how I made the front:
  • Cherry Cobbler card stock 6" x 6".
  • Two (2) Very Vanilla toppers cut out with the Top Note Die with the Big Shot and cut off about an inch of the die as shown.
  • Stamped the Poinsettas from the Bells and Boughs stamp set with Always Artichoke like shown.
  • Stamped the Merry Christmas from the Many Merry Messages in Cherry Cobbler.
  • Tied a 16" piece of the Victorian Lace around the card.
  • Added Champagne Glass Glitter with Tombow Multipurpose Adhesive to the center of the flowers.
  • Attached the topper on with dimensionals.
Inside of the card
How I created the inside:
  • Stamped the Poinsettas with Always Artichoke on the edge as shown.
  • Stamped the sentiment from Many Merry Messages in Cherry Cobbler.
  • Attached with Snail adhesive.

Don't forget to stamp your envelope, it adds so much to it.  These envelopes are Stampin' Up!'s Open Ended envelopes.

Have fun creating and if I can be of service to you, let me know.

My store is open 24 hours a day, visit it to today for more project ideas and to order your supplies.

Happy shopping and As always...Happy Stampin!!

Holiday Mini Sneak Peak #1

Here is a sample of a card that uses the new stamp set Christmas Lodge and Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper.  This stamp set and paper gives you those Holiday colors and a Comfy Design.  Here they are:
I created this for a team meeting shoebox swap earlier this month.

This card was designed by my upline Ruth Murphy.  We got to make it at our team meeting earlier this month.  This card actually uses a window sheet in the middle, the Lodge is stamped inside, very cool!
Wouldn't you love receiving a Christmas card like this or better yet, giving one like this.

If you haven't received your Holiday Mini yet, let me know and I will get you one.

I'm Always Happy Stampin!!

Virginia Beach August 2011

I am back from vacation from Virginia Beach.  If you have never been there it is a beautiful and clean beach, we had a great time!!  It has a nice boardwalk to walk on and a separate one to bike on.  The boardwalk is 3 miles long and we bike down and back 2 different times and it was relaxing to have the breeze from the ocean and the ocean right there as you are biking.  Here are a couple of pictures.

Snow Much Fun #2

Here is another card made with "cool" stamp set Snow Much Fun.   On these hot summer days it is fun to think about snow, but only for a few minutes, I will take the heat any day over the cold.  I hate to be cold.  I guess when I go thru the change in a few years that will all change.  Here is the card:

I just love how the ribbon is tied around the card and the sentiment is attached.

Here are the supplies
Snow Much Fun stamp set

Crumb Cake card stock
Watercolor paper
Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Pretty in Pink, Marina Mist Ink Pads
Aqua painters
1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Marina mist

Whisper White Bakers Twine

As always these items can be purchased on my on-line store anytime.

I am off to pack for vacation.   We are heading to the beach for the week with family.  Can't wait to scrapbook my trip!!  Plan to use My Digital Studio while I am gone to create some pages and get ready for my upcoming My Digital Studio Class on August 22.
