Kisses X2 Valentine

Hi friends...
Here is a simple and easy Hershey Kiss holder that I made over the weekend.  I got a swap of one at Leadership and knew I had to copy it.  This would make a great, fun and easy Valentine for your kids to make for friends and classmates or for your friends and family.
Swap I received at Leadership
My version of the Kisses X2 Valentine

First start with a 4-9/16" x 1-3/4" piece of Designer Series Paper or a Card Stock.  Score at 1-3/16", 2-1/8", 3-5/16".  Using the bone folder fold at all score lines.  Cut a  6" piece of 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.

Punch holes as shown, I used the Crop-a-Dile 1/8" hole side set at 5/16".

Using Snail Adhesive, add 2 kisses as shown.

Tie ribbon as shown and trim as necessary.

Add Snail adhesive to the top portion above the ribbon knots and fold over and adhere as shown.

Take and color with Stampin' Write markers the "Love" stamp from the Valentine Defined in Real Red and Basic Black and stamp on scrap Whisper White Card Stock.  Punch out using the 1-3/4"x7/8" Oval Punch.  Take a scrap piece of Real Red Card Stock and punch out using the Scallop Oval Extra-Large Punch.  Adhere the "Love" white oval to the red scallop oval with Snail Adhesive.  Attach to the treat with with my favorite product...dimensionals as shown.  You can even add a Basic Rhinestone in the "O" if you want to add some bling.

Isn't it so cute!!  It almost looks like a mini purse.  Have fun and Enjoy!!!

Remember A Handmade Card Can Forge a Connection in the Heart!!

Here is 2 more of my favorite swaps from Leadership:

Made by Karen Duke, I love how she used the Awash Flower stamp set to make her skirt.  What a neat idea!

Created by Christie Daugherty in My Digital Studio.  I just love the design!!  Doesn't the ribbon and rosette look real?  It is hard to see, but I like how she put "thank SEW much".

FREE Starter Kit....Remember I was in Nashville, Tennessee, attending a Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference last week? It was the best time they had us going from morning until well into the night (well, we had ourselves going until wee hours of the morning :-)).  They really changed things up this year and it was fabulous.
It ended with fabulous surprises, free products, amazing demonstrator benefits and an exciting offer of a lifetime!
Stampin'Up! has given me a FREE DEMONSTRATOR STARTER KIT… and I get to give it away!
I know there are several of you out there who have thought about becoming a demonstrator and I don't want to pre-judge who might or might not be ready.
Read on if you think you might be ready to try it out.  OR, if you know someone who needs extra income and might be interested in starting her/his own business, please pass this along to them.
Click Here to see a list of everything that comes in the Starter Kit worth over $310.

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT BECOMING A STAMPIN' UP! DEMONSTRATOR?
WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET STARTED FOR FREE?
AND…have me come and do your FIRST CLASS/PARTY/WORKSHOP?
Just ask yourself these few questions:
Do you LOVE rubber stamping or paper crafting or scrapbooking?
Would you love to be a part of a successful Stampin' Up! team?
Do you have 3 or more evenings/days a month that you could commit to "work" consistently? (and I use that term loosely…this "work" is FUN!)
Would you love access to a free online community where you can get and share all kinds of business and stamping ideas?  A community that currently has over 120,000 "searchable" samples to browse and copy.
Would you love to purchase all your future Stampin' supplies at a discount, AND have them be a tax write off too?
Would you love to do some tax deductible traveling?
Would you love to earn a FREE Grand Vacation for two, all expenses paid?
Are you willing to schedule a "party at your house" in the next 30 days to let all your friends and family know you've decided to start your own business? BONUS…I come and DO ALL THE WORK for this one!

WOULD YOU LOVE TO GET over $300  worth of stampin' supplies and business supplies at a discount?  Or... BETTER YET…

WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET ALL THOSE SUPPLIES….FREE????
All you have to do is email me at stampinfun@jetbroadband.com and tell me why YOU would like to be the one to receive my FREE STARTER KIT!  I will read all the "entries" and somehow choose ONE OF YOU to get the FREE STARTER KIT…

YOU NEED TO ACT NOW BY 8pm THURSDAY, JANUARY 20)…if "you're the one" we will need to meet and get the paperwork filled out, and postmark it BY THIS FRIDAY…, January 21st.
Stampin' Up! gave ALL LEADERSHIP ATTENDEES one FREE KIT… but we have to give it away by January 21st or we lose it…and we need time to get together, so don't wait…

This offer is only available for someone who is willing to give a serious effort to get a business started… so you would need to commit on your calendar 3 or more evenings/afternoon/etc  a month to do workshops… that's pretty easy when you figure there's 28-31 days to choose from each month! AND… you need to be willing to have the first one in the next 30 days…but don't panic… I COME AND DO ALL THE WORK!
Being a demonstrator with Stamin' Up! has changed my life… it has the power to change yours too if you want it…

I'm here to help YOU get what YOU want.
What are the requirements to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator? You are required to submit sales of $300 a quarter to maintain your demonstratorship.  Your personal orders count too! I can help you easily accomplish this requirement.
Your application MUST BE POSTMARKED BY FRIDAY 1/21/11.
Contact me now at stampinfun@jetbroadband.com…(if you've read this much, you must be interested)
If you were waiting for the next special or if money was the only thing holding you back, here's your chance to get started and I will help you along the way.
OR, if you know someone who needs extra income and might be interested in starting her/his own business, please pass this along to them.
This is a fantastic offer and if I wasn't already a demonstrator, I'd jump on this :-)

I'm Always Happy Stampin!!

Inky Hugs,

Becky

Cut a 8.5x11 piece of Concord Crush Card Stock in half.  (Cut at 5.5" on the 11" side).
Cut two (2) very vanilla topper to 4" x 5.25" and run thru the big shot with vintage wallpaper embossing folder.
Sponge around the edges with Concord Crush ink.  Cut a Basic Gray card stock to 4" x 5.25".
Cut different size strips of the Lap of Luxury DSP.  I cut strips anywhere from 3/4" to 1-1/4" pieces.
Take a 3/4" strip of pretty in pink card stock and punch using the scallop trim border punch.
Adhere the Lap of Luxury DSP strips and the pretty in pink punched piece to the Basic Gray card stock in a pattern you like.
I like to take Dotto (which is a temporary adhesive) and arrange strips to my liking and then adhere them down with a snail to the Basic Gray card stock.
Run your decorated paper thru the Big Shot with the Top Note Die.
Adhere the top note to the embossed and sponged Very Vanilla card stock with dimensionals.
Punch from a scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock using the decorative label punch.
Stamp the Life is Beautiful image on a scrap Very Vanilla and punch out with the wide oval punch.
Sponge both punched pieces with Concord Crush.
Adhere the decorative label punched piece to the bottom right of the top note piece.
Cut a piece of Concord Crush ribbon 7".
Adhere the ribbon around the top note card as shown.
Add the Life is Beautiful punch with dimensionals.
Adhere the top note to the Concord Crush card with snail.
Take the other Very Vanilla card and stamp sentiment and design filigree stamp in Concord Crush.
Adhere to the inside of the card.
Sign the back.
Now "Life is Beautiful"

Enjoy!!
