Friends at Leadership

Wanted to share with you all some pictures of me and some of my friends from Leadership.  When you join Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator, you get the opportunity to attend wonderful events.  Leadership was awesome!!!  You meet some incredible people at these events.  I can't tell you how many wonderful friendships I have been blessed with from being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.   I truly do love what I do and so do these others that I am so lucky to call friends.  It is a blessing to be able to get together with them and share meals, ideas, swaps and so much more.

Thursday Night in San Antonio

You all won't believe what happened to us on Thursday evening in San Antonio.  They were filming a show for Extreme Makeover with Ty Pennington.  The show is scheduled to air in December 2012.  They were building homes for disabled Veterans.  These soldiers suffered from loss of limb, 3rd degree burns, one man has over 300 hundred pieces of shrapnel in his body, so it is painful to move.  It was an a very moving experience.  The organization that builds these homes is called   Lee Greenwood sang his wonderful song "Gob Bless the USA."  Roger Clemmons was there giving keys to the soldiers.  I feel lucky and blessed to have witness the show.  Here are a few pics from the event.

We also got to go to a Fundraiser dinner before the presentation.  We met American Idol top 40 winner John Wayne Schultz.  Here a couple pics from that.

As you can tell we thought John Wayne was pretty hot and had to take our picture with him.

Go check out their website:  www.helpingahero.org.

Watch for details how you can help a hero over the next months.

Inky Hugs,

Becky
