Did you know that you can run fabric thru your Big Shot?  Now I can do that and how beautiful flowers are and butterflies are made out of fabric, especially Stampin' Up! fabric (I know I am a little partial to Stampin' Up!).

Ladies, check out the video below, we could make these ornaments!  You cut the fabric to 3 x 3 squares, fold and pin onto a stryofoam ball!!  Hot glue some ribbon and done!  These would rock with any Stampin' Up! fabric and just think how the recipient would feel when they receive it!  What a great teacher gift!  What a great Girl Scout project!  Click on the link below to see how to make this wonderful ornament!

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Saturday Stampers!!  Happy Mothers Day to you all!!

I am sitting in a hotel room in El Paso, Texas right now.  My son Adam is here.  He is in the Army.  He is being deployed to Iraq the end of the month.  We decided to fly down here to see him before he left.  We arrived Thursday evening around midnight El Paso time (which is 2am VA time).  He wanted us to take his truck home so he didn't have to store it in a government facility.  So on Sunday and Monday we will be driving his truck back to Lynchburg (28 hour drive).  Yeah I think we are crazy, but it will be an adventure and these 2 days with my son is something I will treasure.

It has been great to see him and meet his girl Laura, she is great and they are so happy together.  They both will be going to Iraq.  My next post, I will post some pictures of our trip.  I plan to also create some scrapbook pages in My Digital Studio, which I will also share.

I thought I would share a couple of Mother's Day cards that I created last month and the card that I sent to my mom and my mother-in-law.  And also the brooch I made them.  I really had a lot of fun creating these!!

The fabric flower and card is what my club made in April.  We made several different 3-D flowers, I have one opening for my club if you would like to get together with other stampers once a month and learn new techniques and tricks, create fun projects and have some fun fellowship with a great group of women!!!!

Gotta go and get ready for my last day with my family in Texas, we are planning on going to White Sands, New Mexico.  Will share some pics later!
