Hello Doily

Here is my second post this week, again with my 2 new favorite colors.  I got this card as a swap from Janie Barnes at Convention.  I think it is one of my favorites (I know I have too many favorites).

See what I mean, isn't it a WOW card.  She stamped in Pool Party the new Hello, Doily stamp (#122845) and stamped the "Thank You" from the Curly Cute set(#120510 clear and #117014 wood) in Island Indigo, then ran it thru the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder.  She also used the new Pool Party 3/8" ruffled ribbon (#122975), Designer Printed Brads In-colors (#122940), Doily Triple Layer Punch (#122465) and Basic Pearls (#119247).

As always my on-line store is open 24 hours a day.  You can order the supplies needed to make this card.  I love it and hope you do too!!  Tomorrow I will share a Christmas card that we did at a Christmas Stamp Card class last Saturday and it uses my 2 new Favorite colors and a snowman.

My 2 New Favorite Colors

This week I am goin to post a new card each day (a total of 5) featuring my 2 new Favorite In-Colors:  Island Indigo and Pool Party and these 2 In-Colors look fabulous together.  Here is a card I created using these them (I did post this a couple of weeks ago, but wanted to share a little more about it and I just love the colors!  And I promise to post new pics the rest of the week!!!!)

This cards features 2 new stamp sets:  Pennant Parade and Delicate Doilies.  I stamped the stamps from the Delicate Doilies on a 5" x 3.75" piece of Whisper White card stock.  I then ran it thru the Big Shot using the Square Lattice embossing folder.  I also did and ran it thru using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  They both turned out great!  This card also using the New Petite Pennants Builder Punch and some White Bakers Twine.  I place dimensionals on the top and the bottom of the pennants and strung the bakers twine in between them and snailed it to the back if the 5.25" x 4" Island Indigo piece as shown.

A funny story to share, My friend Gabe was at the class where we made this card and brought her granddaughter.  I gave them the choice of either using the Square Lattice or the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder.  Her granddaughter said she wanted the one that looked like a paper towel.  How funny is that, I never thought of it that way, but it sure does look like a paper towel.

Check back tomorrow for another fun creation using these 2 colors.  By the way this is my own design, I don't do many on my own, I copy most of the time.

Happy Monday!!

Love,
Becky

Scrapbook with Challenged Sports Exchange

I had the distinct pleasure to create scrapbooks with the Challenged Sports Exchange here in Lynchburg a couple of weeks ago.  I pre-made some spring/summer scrapbooks and they got to decorate and embellish each page and could add photos too.  Here are some pics of the wonderful event:
Shana working hard on her pages

Brett decorating her pages

Fellow teammate Annette working with Adrian

Rhonda helping Brett

So much pride in their creating

Shana added all her favorite country singers to her scrapbook
What a great joy it is to work with such wonderful people!!  They are a joy!!!

Thanks so much to fellow teammate Patti for helping me prep the albums ahead of time.
Also to teammate Annette for her help and for my friend Rhonda and her kids Ava & Jared for their help!!

I look forward to working with them again!

Happy Scrapbooking everyone!
